This beautiful oddly mixed litter was rescued from a shelter up in rural Georgia. They where abandoned in front of the shelter in a box. The litter might be all related or not. There where 2 larger puppies thrown into the mix who look to be related but are not clearly litter mates as they are much older. Then there where the 7 little puppies who vary strongly in hair length, color and build. 3 of the litter look like border collies with the longer hair and black/white pattern. 3 of the litter look like dachshunds but have some slight brindle color with medium hair. And 1 puppy has short stubby legs, thicker body and a square head like a bulldog. So at this point we are calling them Dachshunds/collie mixes...but who really knows?

Kira looks black in these pictures but is actually a dark chocolate with a slight brindle color. She is full of life and loves to run and play. She really loves to swim. Her foster calls her little miss sunshine because she is so full of personality and so happy to see everyone!
