Ricky was rescued from a rural florida shelter and was adopted about 1.5 years ago. His adoptive dad is a single male and even though he done training And had behavioral modification done his lifestyle will no longer work for ricky (not good with kids). This is what his owner had to say about him:

So Ricky is 50-55lbs and he is the sweetest boy ever. He is so smart and food driven that you can teach him new tricks incredibly fast. He loves being outside and going for walks. We took obedience class with an animal behaviorist and we even qualified for the “Canine Good Citizen” award from the AKC. He has a little brother, a 12 pound Pomeranian, that he loves to play with (even when Max doesn’t want to play) although I think he is best suited to a house with no other dogs or potentially a very submissive dog. Unfortunately he has developed some behavioral problems that are too much for me to handle. On three occasions he’s jumped on people and growls/barks in their face. He does not bite them, however it sounds like an attack. Anyone looking to adopt would need to crate him if people where coming to visit and he seem untrustworthy around young children. His ideal home would be with a single person like myself Who wants an active dog (he walks/runs 3 plus miles daily...with more energy for more if your willing). He can be created or left loose in the house when humans are not at home!
