Bean was found as a stray by police emicated and neglected as a stray. Poor bean was only 34lbs when clearly he needs to be 50 plus lbs. Dispite the neglect he has gone through he has a happy, loving personality with people and other animals. Bean was microchipped which lead back to a chip we inserted into a puppy adopted from us back in 2015. We are not sure of his background but know he will find a great furever home! This is what his foster mom said about him:

He’s a great dog!!  Lots of energy. Housebroken, good with cats and dogs. If the cats run from him he will chase them but I honestly don’t think he would hurt them. He’s a bit of a food hog. I feed him in a separate room and let him out when the others are done. He loves to play with toys. Loves to play tug a war. We went to the dog park and he seemed to like the water. He didn’t swim but did go in up to his chest.  We do have crate set up for him but he prefers to sleep on the couch with the other dogs. He has put on weight. His skin is cleared up.
