This poofy little fluff-ball came to Animal Advocates as an owner surrender due to he just wasn't fitting into their family's lifestyle. For his age he is a spunky little fellow that gets along well with other small dogs and cats. Big dogs tend to make him a little nervous. He previous family said that he can get a little nippy when he doesn't want anyone near his "human lap" that he has claimed for the moment. But, his foster mom has been working diligently with him to correct this behavior. Since he has been in his foster home there has NOT been any nipping at all. He has growled a couple of times. He is house trained; although he did mark his new environment a couple of times when he first arrived. He is also a little older and will sometimes get up in the middle of the night to go out. He does come right back in and goes right back to bed. He does have a little separation anxiety, but will quite down after about 15 minutes. He does NOT like to be in a kennel at all, and his foster mom has not found it necessary to kennel him. He also loves going for walks and playing with his toys. He will follow you around like a little shadow, and he will lay around quietly in the office while his foster mom works. His previous owner says that he is child friendly. Peanut loves everybody he meets and is very friendly to strangers. He actually insisted that the cable repair man pick him up, cuddle him, and play fetch with him. And does this little man love to cuddle, cuddle, cuddle and give kisses. I mean, just look at that cute little face. So, if you would like to adopt little Peanut please fill out an application.......
