Online Adoption Application

Jack is a beautiful white lab mix. He is a happy outgoing boy who gets along with dogs, cats and kids. This boy was rescued from a rural georgia shelter. He was adopted in January but his owners no longer have time for him. They have 2 young children and he an only dog. This what his onerhas to say about him:

Jack is a fun loving typical lab. He is great with dogs,kids and doesn’t care about cats. He is very playful but will cuddle with you all day too if you let him. We are working on kennel training and teaching him not to jump. He’s done very well learning not to jump except when he gets really excited. He does great in the kennel it’s just getting him to go in the kennel on command that we are working on. All in all jack is an awesome dog and he would do great in any home. We have continued his training, he will go in his crate with verbal commands, sit and stay until summoned for his food, etc.  He truly is a great dog, but he has a lot of energy and needs someone that can spend more time with him. He is still young and again has bounds of energy, he's knocked my 3 yo daughter down  a couple time due to getting overly excited and barreling around, he chases his tail and knocks things over, he needs more outside play time and longer walks.  His disposition is great, he's happy and healthy, house trained with a few accidents, but overall responds positively to training.
