Norma is a sweet, shy pup that came to us from a hoarding situation. She is very timid and weary of people and new environments. She will run and hide her face when people approach her. She loves other animals. Sometimes she will hide when she meets dogs bigger than her. She may let out a low growl if they approach her when she is hiding. She has never shown any aggression to people or animals at all. She will try to chase/play with dogs smaller than her and cats. Once she knows bigger dogs do not pose a threat she will play with them too.

Norma is very afraid of new people. It takes her a long time to warm up. If she has another dog to show her that it is safe then she feels much more comfortable. Norma does not like to be petted very much but she will sit next to you on the couch once she’s comfortable with you.

Norma can not walk on a leash and needs a secure fenced in yard. She is terrified of leashes. For this reason, she must be adopted into a home with a fenced yard.

Norma loves to play with stuffed toys. She likes to carry her toys around and hoards them all on her bed to sleep with . She will carry them around and bury it in the dirt or under furniture inside.

Normas favorite game is hide and seek. She’ll bark with her ears perked up, for us to come “chase” her. She’ll run and hide under the couch with her tail wagging. We pet her on her butt and say “we found you Norma!”. Then we walk away and she wants to do it all over again. She is a silly pup!
