West's owner surrendered him to a rescue in Rural Georgia. They could no longer keep him. This Big goofy boy is an absolute lover. He loves all dogs and generally has a happy outgoing personality! This is what his foster has to say about him: West is a happy, healthy, handsome dog. He loves play time, treats, and head rubs. Tug of war and fetch are two of his favorite things. He is very food motivated and has learned ‘sit’. When he wants attention, he will lay his head on your lap for head rubs. It is hard to stop when he looks up at you with those eyes. His first two nights he didn’t sleep well because of being in a strange place but now he sleeps through the night. He is pretty ‘velcro’ but when I have to work at my computer he goes and naps in one of his favorite spots: in front of the sliding glass doors to watch the birds and squirrels. He wants to be friends with everyone he meets including dogs. He will make a perfect best friend. West is housebroken and good at communication that he needs to go out. He only chews his toys. He likes rope toys and plush toys. I have not left him alone yet. We have a long morning walk then 2 or 3 short walks during the day and another long walk before bed.
