Pancake and her sibling Waffles wandered up to a home in a rural area. Pancake was limping and had a several injured leg. We don't know how they came to be strays but they have happy loving personalities. Pancake's rear leg was amputated due to severity of its multiple breaks. This is what the foster has to say about her: Pancake is 33 pounds. She is very sweet and loves attention. She is crate trained so when I’m not home she stays in a huge crate and has plenty of room to move around. At night she sleeps in a smaller crate but still a sizable one for her. She would love to sleep on the bed if I let her but she will go in the crate willingly. She does not like to be alone and will cry if nobody’s around and she’s in her crate. She is very much a puppy and going through all of the puppy behaviors like stealing shoes and chewing on things if you don’t provide her with good quality toys. She has a lot of energy and loves the outdoors chasing a ball or playing with the other pups. She gets along with all my other dogs and chickens. She can be a little shy when first meeting someone or another dog she’s unfamiliar with but will warm up quickly. She has had no problem with the leg amputation and can maneuver stairs and getting in the vehicles. She loves to ride in the car.
