Jake Came to us from a rural georgia family after his owner died and he was left to the grandson for care. Several animals were rehomed from the property and clearly Jake was not well taken care of. He was extremely underweight and in need of some TLC. He has since been in a foster home for several weeks and has gained weight, his coat is shiny and is in good spirts. He is now ready for his furver home. We are not sure how many years left he has but he has a happy loving personality and we want to give him a shot. 

Jake is housebroken, good with cats and has done well with kids. He is ok with other dogs but due to his old age he only wants to be left alone. He takes only short walks to go to the bathroom so wont need much exercise. He take Rimadyl daily due to his arthristis and has limited mobility.
