Meet Makenna our little house hippo ( pocket Pit) she is 9 months old and just loves to run and play. She is definitely a water lover. This is what her foster has to say: Makenna is a bubbly, outgoing playful joyful soul. She is active and needs an owner to include her in their daily activities.  Makenna loves loves  loves toys of all kinds. She also loves anything to do with water.  We have a crate set up for her which she uses as a quiet space , to take a nap or chill out. She isn't destructive and fully potty trained so she doesn't need to be crated while you are away. She sleeps with her foster family and snores! She loves children and other dogs to play with. She is a shoe and sock stealer but puts them in her crate as a prized possession.  She never chews on them. Makenna is looking for an active family to share many adventures with. Makenna is heartworm positive and currently undergoing the slow-kill method of treatment. Any adopter will receive heartguard for her to complete 1 year of prevention and AA will retest her at the end of that year at the rescue expense.
