Coby is Cairn Terrier mix and is approximately 2 years old, weighing in at 14 pounds.
This little sweetheart was found running through traffic.  He was very dirty, hungry and extremely afraid. A good Samaritan saw him and spent several hours trying to catch him. He finally gave up after he became exhausted and allowed her to pick him up. He is an amazing little guy. He gets along with dogs, kids and people. He currently has 3 fur siblings and he loves to play with them. He hasn’t gained enough confidence, so he does get a little nervous and will retreat to his crate if they become rough. He would be a great companion to his human and would be fine as an only dog, but just as comfortable with fur siblings. We don’t know how long he was alone on the streets, but he is eager for attention and love. He has been known to sneak in kisses when you ae not looking and will take your seat on the couch for a night of movie watching.
When Coby first came to our house, he was very restless. Once he found out that he would receive a lot of love and he felt safe, he started going to his crate to sleep. He has since learned that his crate is his safe place and will sleep through the night. His foster mom leaves the door open because he is very anxious if the door closes. He would snuggle in his owner’s bed if allowed, but he currently is trained for his crate. He has done a remarkable job at house breaking. He has never had any accidents other than the occasional marking, But has improved since he was neutered.

He walks on a leash very well and will be your favorite co-pilot on road trips. He is a sweet little guy that just needs a great family.
