Bear is a beautiful lab mix who we rescued from a rural georgia shelter. Lucky we have a partner organization who helps foster and transport him and his brother deogo down to florida. Bear is slightly shy with new people but warms up very quickly. He seems to be doing very well with housetraining and has not had an accident in his foster mom house. Like a typical lab he seems to love all dogs he meets and has a happy energenic personality once he warms up! He is learning to walk on a leash. We suspect he hasn't much experence with living "inside a house" since he was found in such a rural location where he just kinda ran around. So he learning and exploring. He Loves to sleep in the bed with his owner if allowed! Bear ideal home would have another playful dog of any size and his owners would not be gone for long periods of time (he does not like to be crated for long periods of time and will attempt to break out). He nerv around my 2 and 3 year old but is not aggressive just walks way If they get to rowdy. He had no reaction what so ever to my cats. Bear is submissive to nearly all types of dogs and likes a confident pack leader to play and wrestle with! Bear also needs a fenced in yard to run run run in! He loves to try and out run my 12lb chihuahua mix!
