Garlic and his brother Onion where rescued in rural georgia. They where found terrified in a drainage ditch. They looked to never had been around humans before. There rescuer/foster home in GA was a "farm" style home where they are starting to trust humans again. Unfortunally there foster up in GA passed away and they needed to travel down to florida to find there furever home with us. Garlic brother onion was adopted but Garlic still awaits a home.

Garlic has lived in several different foster homes. He is currently living with a family but mainly bonds to the mother (main caretaker). He loves other dogs and thrives in an enviroment with another confident dog. He has lived with cats but sometimes tends to chase them in an attempt to play. He is fully housebroken and crate trained. He rarely barks. He is still very skittish with people and will take a while for him to bond to a person and fully trust. He will most likely be a more aloof dog who blends in with a pack. His ideal home with have a fenced yard for him to play in, another dog who confident and playful. He also does well with one or two people in the home to bond too.  Garlic walks well on the leash but will either pull to see another dog if encountered on a walk or pull to run away from a stranger when encountered on a walk. Garlic does not do well with children who move fast and are loud and would be best in a home with no children. Garlic is overall a beautiful, healthy dog who just needs a understanding owner!
