Ruby was rescued from Osceola County Animal Services after an email plea was sent to us for a rescue. Poor little Ruby is a tiny tea cup chihauhua who was found as a stray. She was badly in need of a dentel. This is what ruby foster says about her!

This tiny little lady is Ruby, and she is super sweet.  This little girl was found as a stray and taken to the Osceola Animal Shelter.  So Animal Advocates stepped up to help find the perfect home for this little lady.  Ruby does have heartworms, but her treatment is covered in full by Animal Advocates.  Despite her age, Ruby, is super spunky and she has an enormous personality.  She loves to go for walks, belly rubs and cuddling on the couch.  And, of course, kisses, kisses and more kisses.  She gets along with everyone she meets.  She follows you around like a little shadow because she doesn't want to be left out of any of the excitement. Ruby is not a yappy little Chihuahua. She only barks when it is appropriate. But she certainly has a big voice that comes out of that little body of hers.  And when she want you attention she grunts like a little piglet.  But Ruby's favorite thing to due is chase her best friend, Peanut.

BUT, Ruby is one half of a bond pair.  She has a tiny 4.4 lbs. best friend named Peanut.  We would like to find them a home together.  Besides, who can resist 10.4 lbs. (collectively) of nothing but pure unconditional love. Ruby is more than likely friendly with children, but, due to her age and size young children might not an appropriate fit for her and Peanut.

Ruby is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing the "slow kill" method of treatment. All medications and heartworm preventions will be provided to an adopter concerning this treatment.
