Learn more about the Chihuahua.
Peanut was rescued along with another tiny chihuahua from Osceola County Animal Services. Peanut was found as a stray with a microchip. The information on the chip was not up to date and they where unable to help Peanut back to his home. Peanut is TINY and only weights in at 4.5 lbs. Dont let his tiny stature scare you away he has plenty of personality! This tiny little man is Peanut, and he is super sweet. This little man was found as a stray and taken to the Osceola Animal Shelter. So Animal Advocates stepped up to help find the perfect home for this little guy. Despite his age, Peanut, is super spunky and he has an gigantic personality. He loves to go outside to sun bathe; and cuddling on the couch. And, of course, kisses, kisses and more kisses. He is not much for going on walks. He does have cataracts, but, he can see and gets around just fine. Peanut gets along with everyone he meets. He also likes to be picked up and carried. In fact he expects to be picked up because he does not do stairs. He will actually spin around and get into position for liftoff. Oh, and about that spinning. He loves to chase his tail and will occasionally catch it. Peanut is more than likely child friendly, but he is also a fragile little fella. Due to his age and size small children would NOT be an appropriate fit for Peanut. More about PeanutGood with Dogs Peanut must be adopted with his companion, Ruby (adopted).
