Animal Advocates

Oh dear Lord, look at this cute little rag muffin.  Yes, he is "A HOT MESS"!!!!  Jimi came to Animal Advocates from Osceola County Animal Services when his owner passed away.  He and his BONDED brother were found in the residence during a welfare check.  When they came to Animal Advocates; Jimi, was in need of immediate medical treatment.  Now that he is a healthy little guy he is looking for his forever home.  Yes, he can turn into a snippy little "Piranha" in a hot second.  So if you are familiar with the breed, he is just a typical little Chihuahua.  Jimi is really just as sweet as can be.  He is house trained, and he is in the process of crate training.  Jimi gets along well with the other dogs and cats in the house, but, needs slow introductions when meeting new dogs. Jimi, loves to go for walks.  His little, tiny, self, will pull you down the road; so he is in the process of learning some leash manners. It is amazing how his little paws can move at such a fast pace.  Jimi seems to be friendly with strangers, but, needs slow introductions when meeting new people.  There are a few things that Jimi just does NOT like.  He does NOT like to be pick up from his sides. It makes Jimi mad.... really mad.  He insist on being scooped up from underneath  He also does NOT like to be moved when sleeping unless he is woken up in the proper manner, nicely, and the scooped up.  Because Jimi can be a little snippy it is recommend that he be in a home with no small children. Jimi also becomes very vocal when you first leave the house. But, after about five minutes of protesting he quietly settles down a patiently awaits your return. Other than that, he is a cute, cuddly, loving, loyal little companion.  He likes to play chase, and do zoomies around the yard.  But, mostly, he just likes to sit with his human and watch is brother enjoy chasing the lizards. He is quite the little character that will always have you laughing, smiling, and just making your whole day better. 

 

Jimi, as you can see, has a skin condition.  Most of his fur will grow back, but there are some areas that will have permanent fur loss.  Jimi doesn't care....it just makes him even more special.

 

Also, Jimi has a bonded brother.  And his name is Hendrix.  Jimi and Hendrix love each other and are in need of a forever home TOGETHER.  You can learn more about Hendrix on his profile.  Seriously, these are the two most entertaining little Chihuahuas ever.  Whoever gets to adopt these two little dogs will have a life time full of joy, love and laughter.  So if you would like to adopt Jimi AND his brother.......please fill out an adoption application.
