Just look at this wiggly chubby little Chihuahua.  Hendrix came to Animal Advocates from Osceola County Animal Services when his owner passed away.  He and his BONDED brother were found in the residence during a welfare check.  Hendrix is as sweet as can be.  He is house trained, and he is in the process of crate training.  Hendrix gets along well with the other dogs and cats in the house, but, he can become frightened and verbal around new dogs and needs to be introduced to them slowly.  Hendrix, loves to go for walks and will pull you down the road; so he is in the process of learning some leash manners. He can easily become distracted by his most favorite thing in the world, a lizard.   Hendrix seems to be friendly with strangers, but, needs slow introductions when meeting new people. He can sometimes become verbal when meeting someone new, especially men.  Hendrix has never been snippy.  He leaves the snappiness to his little brother, Jimi.  Due to his little brother's attitude we recommend that he be in a home with no small children. Hendrix also becomes very vocal when you first leave the house. But, after about five minutes of protesting he quietly settles down and patiently awaits your return. Hendrix also prefers to walk, and will become rather wiggly when his feet are not on the ground.  Other than that, he is a cute, cuddly, loving, loyal little companion that likes to play with toys and will play fetch.  But most of all Hendrix is a mighty lizard/squirrel hunter, and will spend hours chasing them while his brother watches him from a close distance. He is quite the little character that will always have you laughing, smiling, and just making your whole day better.

Also, Hendrix has a bonded brother.  And his name is Jimi.  Hendix is very protective of Jimi and constantly watches over him. Jimi and Hendrix love each other and are in need of a forever home TOGETHER.  You can learn more about Jimi on his profile.  Seriously, these are the two most entertaining little Chihuahuas ever.  Whoever gets to adopt these two little dogs will have a life time full of joy, love and laughter.  So if you would like to adopt Hendrix AND his brother.......please fill out an adoption application.
