Diamond and his sister Pearl where rescued from rural Georgia after their owner surrendered them. It seems they had an opps litter with there German Shepard and the neighbors wired hair terrier. These puppies they where not able to give away and so they contacted the rescue group. These puppies have lived there entire short lives outdoors so are figuring out how to act indoors (very scared inside) but warm up slowly! They would love another confident dog to play with and a patient loving home indoors! This is what her foster had to say about her:

Diamond is a sweet girl, and loves to explore our back yard. She is interested in our senior dog but does not pester her, either. It took her a few days to get used to being inside, but now she will play with toys and follow us around the house. She likes to chase balls, still hasn't figured out squeaker toys.

She has not had any accidents inside the house or her crate. She's teething, and likes to chew on shoe laces, cords.

She is good with our small children, if a bit skiddish. She does need work to learn to walk on a leash.
